Please evaluate your own teaching during SMILE Week by answering the following questions as honestly as you can. Leave your answers as comments:
What were you trying to teach the children you worked with?
Were there any differences between different aged children? Which classes did you prefer teaching? Why?
How did you find the behaviour of children in the lessons you taught?
What do you think you did well?
What might you need to improve if you repeated the lesson?
Did you enjoy teaching? What did you enjoy or not enjoy about it?

By: Aalyah on April 20, 2012 at 1:56 pm
1.
I taught 5rw,1sg and 1kn.
2.
I was trying to teach the children how to use the ipads and how to handle the the iPads.
3.
There was no difference in teaching different aged children as they were all good but older children went a bit out of control. I prefered teaching 1sg and 1kn because they listed very well and did every instruction we gave them.
4.
There behaviour was excellent but some children did everything without listening to us.
5.
I was very loud and clear in speaking to them also I was good at teaching at the right time.
6.
I need to improve in trying to get there attention and moving quickly because we usually don’t have a lot of time.
7.
I really enjoyed teaching because when children are at home they can do anything but at school they get teached lots of things as well as staying calm at all times and that was very fun to do.

By: Kashif on April 20, 2012 at 1:59 pm
I think i taught like a teacher to 5km which is my class and i think i taught like a proffessitional.I was trying to teach epic citadel, bee bot and hungry fish. I think there is a big difference between the younger children and older children because younger children listen and only some older children.I preferred teaching my own class because they gave me good support.I was also teaching 3NL and they had excellent behaviour. The thing that i did well was that i was telling the children of polietly. To improve my teaching i think i should speak more and teach more.
